Alcoholism is also called as Alcohol addiction. For the most adults, moderate alcohol use is not dangerous. Though, almost 17.6 million adults in the United States are alcoholics or suffer alcohol troubles. Alcoholism is an illness among four main features:

Loss of control - not being capable to discontinue drinking once you've begun
Physical addiction – withdrawal indication, like nausea, sweating or shakiness after stopping drinking
Patience - the need to drink larger quantity of alcohol in order to get “high”
